Within an instant everything changed. The four distinct sides ceased fighting each other as they suddenly found themselves besieged by various Gundam power armors on all sides. With all the exits blocked there was nowhere to fall back to this time. The real fight had begun. Much to Apollo's surprise the closest of the newly appear Gundam power armors attacked. In one swift blow the Calamity was on the floor with its user's blood splattered on the floor. Apollo did not have the luxury to morn for the fallen Knight as Ann hastily began her attack. With so many power armors under her control attacking at once. Already with his back to the unknown Gundam power armor Apollo switched to Reborns Cannon and fired the buster rifle at full power. Careful to mind the allies in the fight. "Let's see what Epyon tells this one now?" Apollo says to himself as he looks to watch the unknown Gundam power armor's reaction. |

This was rapidly becoming a nightmare. That though, among other flashed through Hiromi's mind, when he could aford the luxury of one at least. The enclosed area, rapidly becoming moreso due to the press of armored bodies, had reduced most ranged weaponry to nearly useless, it was a melee affair now. His whole world was the moment, blocking a another beam weapon here, trying to work a stab or slash through a guard, his IFF was still working at least, so he was reasonably sure he wasn't trying to kill other cops or even the Ranger Mobile Armors, but he couldn't be sure, and frankly it couldn't be helped until after this melee was over. The three green lights on his HUD told him his teammates were all still alive, though in what condition he couldn't be sure, and that they were somewhat close by. They were all busy in their own fights however, each effectively on their own. The mobile suit he was fighting, a Gundam of some kind if the V Crest was anything to go off of, suddenly gained a momentary advantage and sent him stumbling back, a glowing furrow in his armor. Grunting he brought his saber back up narrowly avoiding decapitation. "This is bad," he said to himself. Just then another Mobile Suit barreled into his attacker, knocking him sprawling. He took a look at his rescuer," Bout time," he grunted. "Your welcome," Amber called back. There wasn't time to simply hold a conversation however as the Gundam was quickly back on them, but now it was two on one, and the advantage was reversed as they drove it back towards the wall. |

"Seems we meet again, officer." Grant looked straight at the copy as it made its way towards him. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was something else behind this Bertigo. Inhuman? Possible. Grant had the Bertigo custom-built years ago and yet this copy was able to act as if his mastery of the PA was superior to his. He checked the information displayed on his HUD and confirmed that two from the LE Nemo squad survived, and that Klein ordered them to fall back. He silently cursed the brass for sending in a squad of inexperienced agents to the front where anything could happen. It was not that they were going to be a hindrance, but the fact that they took this situation lightly only increased his hatred of the system. Grant saw the HEXA from the corner of his eye as Lucas ignited a beam saber and approached his own doppelganger. The young detective was shaken earlier as he took hits while covering the Nemos but he was resilient, and Grant credited him for that. "Let's end this here," Grant declared to the Bertigo before him as he activated his own, "I don't like working overtime." He released three of his bits as he dashed towards his copy. It maybe true that this Bertigo before him has full command of its arsenal, but Grant learned long ago that it wasn't the amount that mattered, but what you can do with the least possible options. |

With each step backwards, she could feel the bile rising in her throat, the panic threatening to return. None of the trapped soldiers stood a chance here unless allegiances were set aside, even if only for a moment... blocking still one more attack from the X-1, the Quin Mantha suddenly brings it's upper body and head forward, the glow of the beam cannons alighting the Gundam's features before the two impact, the resounding blow, with the added impact of the beam weaponry flooring the smaller unit. Taking a step forward, planting her legs over the X-1's arms she speaks at last, for the first time since meeting Wild. "Be you USMP, Ranger, Knight, Law Enforcement or Rogue, we live or die together this day. I would live... stand with me!" With a yell she sweeps her beam cannons through the last place she saw the fake blitz, her now 12 remaining funnels breaking off their assault on the X-2 to harry the Victory and the Dynames. Sheathing her swords, she adds her hand-cannons into the assault as well, laying down fire on as many of the Tesla Labs targets as she can, without compromising her new 'allies'... this doesn't last particularly long, the X-2, now free to do as it pleases and over the initial shock of the scene unfolding, boosts forward, ramming it's shot lancer through the Quin Mantha's I-Field generator, breaking one of Kristal's arms with the force of the strike, and pinning her to the wall. It watches for a moment as she struggles weakly, the X-1 climbing to it's feet, as the two converge to finish her. |

Klein's focus on the target at hand fades as the one who gave him the best opening to attack was now being double-teamed by two of the trio that looked like the rogue he'd chased earlier. He realized that the situation was boiling down to 'us' and 'them', and it would be far more important to help one of 'us' than to get rid of just one of 'them'. With that in mind he turned in midstep, and used his minovsky craft system to make a flying lunge in the crossbones' direction. 6mm Vulcan rounds peppered the X1 from behind, causing both units to turn just in time for the X2 to catch a beam saber with it's shot lancer, as HEXA powered the off-balanced Gundam backwards into a wall. The Nemo popped out from his cover now and then, joining the funnels in spraying beams at the Victory. As Klein tried to power the X2 into submission, he could almost feel the devious grin of it's pilot as the X-thrusters lit up, burning into the wall and slowly inching the two suits back in the direction they came from. "Sunuva..." Lucas muttered, maxing the HEXA's throttle and firing the vulcans once more, only to hear a pathetic series of clicks indicating he was out of ammo. His saber still slowly dug into the shot lancer, but it wasn't enough. His HUD suddenly came to life with a proximity warning, X1 was moving in for the kill. With a flash of instinct, Klein did the unthinkable, throttling off entirely and letting the force of the X2 ram him toward the X1. As the X1 raised it's saber to run him through, Lucas pointed his left elbow behind him, and activated the shield. The resulting crash spiralled the three units away from each other, each taking a little damage, but none out of the fight. Lucas smiled, seeing the Quin Mantha getting back on it's feet. The X2 took a quick look at it's damaged shot lancer, and discarded the weapon. The X1 sheathed it's saber with it's damaged left arm, and pulled the beam zanber with it's right. Klein noted the loss of his second beam shield, and lacking options retreived a second saber. "She's right, they expect us to fight them on our own, but we outnumber them. They can't expect to win if we fight them as one." |

Kristal's yell of cooperation was a partial success, as Lucas immediately acknowledged her affirming it and assisting in her hour of need. While she had indeed sent out her funnels to help out the Military and Law Enforcement, the Knights received no such help. As such, it was left to them to deal with the Gundam Epyon. Epyon with little effort dodged the Reborns Gundams attacks as Apollo switched back to his normal mode. Pulling out the GN Saber, Reborns locked sabers with the Epyon's larger sword, as the Gundam poured more energy into the sword, intensifying it. Taking to the air, or what limited movement they could with the ceiling up above them, the two moved testing one another. On the ground, Kristal groaned in pain at the fury of attacks the X-1 and X-2 had done to her, barely controlling her remaining funnels to engage other targets. As the HEXA joined her, the two Gundams looked to one another and grabbed ahold of their cloaks using their free arms. Before another step could be taken a singular beam went through the space between them, as Wild fired his Buster Gun, still locking zanbers with the other X-3. Both of their Muramasa Blasters lay discarded, cut cleanly in half during the combat. Breaking contact, both Gundams joined with their respective group, pieces of their armor singed and broken in various places. The X-3 followed the other Crossbones and did the same motion. "Don't move until I say so..." Wild says, as Lucas looks over. "Listen rogue, I know we have to work together-" Lucas starts, before Wild tosses his cloak aside and clipping his weapons to the hips. "Just trust me on this," Wild interrupts, as the three Crossbones charged forward. "Mantha, charge your weapons..." Wild says, as the Quin Mantha began charging her weapons. (to be continued, goddamn internet fails...) Edited by Wild, Dec 7 2010, 12:58 AM.
